Makeup Art Services - Special Occasions & Personal Events | In-Studio is offered at a base rate of $150 and scheduled for 90 MINUTES. A signed service agreement is required before the appointment. If you request multiple looks during the session, a $25 fee applies for each additional look change, which affects how the 90 MINUTES are allocated.
When you book, select the in-studio option for Laurel appointments. If you prefer an at-home visit, choose the Special Occasion & Personal Events | On-location option instead — an additional TRAVEL FEE will apply. Evening and weekend bookings are available to accommodate commuters who travel via I-95 or the MARC line.
What happens during service
The session begins with a brief consultation to confirm the event type — prom, portraits, birthday, public speaking or themed events — and to set priorities for skin coverage, longevity and camera-readiness. The artist will plan the look within the 90 MINUTES, advising when a requested extra look will incur the $25 change fee so you can decide what to prioritize.
Local climate and event conditions inform how the appointment is managed; for example, hot, humid summer days common in the Mid-Atlantic can affect timing and product choices, while indoor portrait or stage lighting requires different emphasis. Discussions about sensitivities, preferred finishes or reference images happen up front to keep the session focused and efficient.

The studio is in Laurel, serving South Laurel / Laurel Lakes and nearby areas like Jessup, Savage, Beltsville, Elkridge and Columbia. Its location near Laurel Park, I-95 and the MARC station makes it convenient for commuters. Plan for arrival a few minutes early so paperwork — including the required signed service agreement — is completed before your 90 MINUTES begin.
If you need the artist to come to your event, select the On-location appointment option and confirm the travel fee when booking. For in-studio visits, bring reference photos and any skin-safety information you want the artist to know. Evening and weekend availability supports clients with family and work schedules in the Laurel area.
