Booking, timing, and agreement
Makeup Art Services - Professional Events provides on-location coverage for 2 - 6 consecutive hours; Duration: 360 MINUTES. Scheduling begins with a call for a quote and a confirmed time window. A signed service agreement is required prior to the appointment to confirm start times, the number of subjects, and the contracted half-day coverage.
When you book, we confirm the event address, arrival window, and an onsite contact. Serving Laurel’s South Laurel / Laurel Lakes corridor and nearby communities helps with timely arrival for commuters using I-95 or MARC. Please supply parking or loading details so the artist can arrive punctually and use the contracted time efficiently.
On-location setup and services
This half-day service focuses on professional makeup for media: photoshoots, runway, television and similar events. The artist works on-location to create consistent, camera-ready looks throughout the contracted 2–6 hour period, and will manage look continuity and in-session touch-ups as time allows within the booked window.
Local conditions in the Mid-Atlantic—summer humidity and variable weather—can affect makeup wear and may change how much in-session maintenance is needed. Planning shoot times, indoor staging, and brief touch-up breaks during the half-day helps maintain appearance under studio lights, on location, or in outdoor settings near Laurel landmarks.
Rates, travel, and overtime
CALL FOR QUOTE to confirm the exact half-day rate for your event. Any additional time ABOVE the 6 hour point will be charged at a higher rate in 30 minute increments. Travel fee for Events 0-100 miles (round trip) is charged at the rate of $.655/mile. For more than 100 miles round trip, additional travel arrangements must be discussed.
Before the appointment, provide a detailed timeline, event address, and a point of contact. Mention nearby landmarks like Laurel Park or the Towne Centre if useful for directions. Clear onsite instructions about parking, loading, and where the artist should set up will reduce delays and help the half-day session deliver the planned looks.
