Service scope and duration
This full-day offering covers 6 - 12 consecutive hours of professional makeup services for media events such as photoshoots, run-way shows, television, and similar productions. The scheduled duration for this service is 720 MINUTES; that frames staffing and logistics, so please confirm exact call and wrap times when requesting a quote to ensure full coverage.
To receive pricing and finalize availability, CALL FOR QUOTE. A signed service agreement is required prior to the event; it secures scheduled time and clarifies responsibilities like on-site access, breaks, and client-provided touch-up space. Adding more than 12 hours incurs additional charges billed at a higher rate in 30 minute increments, which we outline in the agreement.
On-location logistics and travel
For on-location events we plan arrival, setup, and breakdown around your production schedule. Travel within 0-100 miles round trip is charged as a mileage fee at $.655/mile. Events requiring travel beyond 100 miles round trip need separate travel arrangements to be discussed during quoting, including potential lodging or per diem if applicable.
Being based in South Laurel near Laurel Park and the Konterra corridor, we serve Laurel, Jessup, Savage, Beltsville, Elkridge, and Columbia. Our schedule accommodates commuters using I-95, the Baltimore-Washington Parkway, or the MARC line, with evening and weekend availability to fit production calls before or after typical work hours.
What to expect on-site
On the day, the artist arrives at the agreed call time and establishes a dedicated touch-up station. Expect initial consultations, adjustments for camera lighting or runway conditions, and scheduled touch-up windows throughout the 720 MINUTES service. Communication with photographers or producers is essential so makeup aligns with wardrobe, lighting, and final shot requirements.
Clients should confirm where the artist will park and that the workspace offers seating and basic lighting. The signed agreement will list these expectations to avoid delays. For television or fast-paced shoots, staying flexible about timing and quick touch-ups keeps the day on schedule; additional staffing can be discussed when requesting your quote.
