How the lesson works
This is an individual, hands-on makeup lesson that runs 120 MINUTES and has a STARTING PRICE: $200. In Laurel you meet one-on-one with an artist who guides product selection from the HC Product Supply List and works with the trial-sized items you bring. The goal is practical, repeatable steps you can use at home.
During the lesson you practice applying the products you purchased, receive technique coaching, and troubleshoot common issues. Instruction focuses on choices that suit your daily life in the commuter suburbs around Laurel, balancing speed and durability for before-or-after-work routines and family schedules.
The HC Product Supply List
Before your appointment you receive a HC Product Supply List that includes Amazon Associate links so you can buy the trial-sized items recommended. Trial sizes let you test how products work with your skin tone and preferences before investing in full-sized versions, reducing waste and helping you make confident long-term choices.
Makeup and kit supplies are NOT INCLUDED; clients should purchase items on the list prior to the scheduled appointment. Any items not acquired before the lesson may sometimes be supplied onsite by HC if available, but that will incur an additional cost, so ordering early is recommended.
Preparing and expectations
Arrive with a clean, makeup-free face so the lesson can begin promptly and cover product matching and application. Plan for the South Laurel / Laurel Lakes location and allow commute time if you travel from Jessup, Savage, or Columbia. Evening and weekend openings are available to accommodate commuter and family schedules.
After the lesson you will leave with hands-on practice, a clear product list for upgrading to full sizes, and practical tips for applying your kit quickly. The appointment is focused on usable skills rather than theoretical techniques, tailored to what works in Laurel’s suburban, commuter lifestyle.
