This service includes protective styling of microlocs by braiding or twisting before installing Miracle Knots, and clients must arrive with locs freshly shampoo'd. It does not include loc maintenance or provide hair; you must bring 4-5 packs of 100% human bulk Miracle Knot hair, with the suggested curl pattern being Burmese Curl.
Installation process and expectations
Appointments run for 150 MINUTES and begin with protective styling—either a braid or a twist pattern—so the Miracle Knots can be installed onto clean, prepped locs. During the session we set knot placement and check tension, focusing on a low-tension finish that keeps the look light while spacing knots for a natural, curly fall.
Because loc maintenance is not part of this service, clients should plan separate follow-up appointments for tightening, palm rolling, or repairs. The resulting curl look is influenced by the supplied hair, installation density, and the Mid-Atlantic climate—humid summers in Laurel can affect how curls sit and may require different product or styling choices after installation.
Choosing hair and preparation
You must provide 4-5 packs of 100% human bulk Miracle Knot hair for the install; synthetic or mixed blends are not accepted.
