What the method involves
This service creates microlocs using the 2-strand twist method with no added hair. The appointment includes establishment of the loc grid, 2-strand twists for each section, and interlocking of hair at the root to secure each starter loc. Also included are the First Retie Appointment (4 weeks after install), lunch for each day of your install, and a small gift.
Consultation is required before booking so we can assess natural hair density and length and confirm logistics. PRICE Begins at $1000 for the first 4 inches of hair. *$250 for each additional inch of hair*. Duration: 720 MINUTES; the service will be split over two consecutive days to complete installation comfortably.
Booking and consultation details
All clients must complete a consultation prior to securing a booking. During the consultation we confirm current hair length, discuss grid pattern options, review the included first retie and aftercare expectations, and finalize arrival times. This step ensures pricing reflects measured length and that scheduling fits your availability in the Laurel area service zone.
Appointments are planned as two consecutive sessions to cover the full install load. Expect the technician to provide lunch both days and to schedule the First Retie Appointment at about four weeks post-install. After installation, routine maintenance is the client’s responsibility; the included first retie at four weeks helps set the root pattern and assess how your hair settles.
