Assessment and Consultation Process
Every Loc Repair booking begins with a required consultation to assess damage, history, and goals. In Laurel we examine loc size, integrity, and any prior repairs to decide whether the service is hourly or extensive. The consultation lets us recommend repair steps, estimate time, and determine if a deep condition/steam treatment is necessary for restoration.
Pricing details are confirmed during consultation: the hourly rate is $100 per hour and typical appointment duration is 60 MINUTES. For extensive repairs we provide a personalized written quote outlining steps and costs before booking. Consultation is also when we confirm availability that suits commuters and families in the South Laurel / Laurel Lakes area.
What Each Session Includes
Hourly repair sessions include a shampoo plus loc repair/restoration work only. Extensive repair bookings include shampoo, a deep condition with steam treatment, and the repair steps outlined in the consultation quote. Inter-locing, palm rolling, and routine loc maintenance are not performed during repair appointments and must be scheduled on a separate day.
Because extensive restoration often requires more time than a single 60 MINUTES session, the consultation allows us to suggest a schedule that balances cost and results. We do not guarantee outcomes, but the plan will explain expected steps and whether multiple appointments or extended hours are likely to achieve the repair goals discussed.
Scheduling and Local Logistics
Consultation is required to book any Loc Repair / Restoration service; this helps us coordinate evening and weekend openings that cater to commuters using I-95, the Baltimore–Washington Parkway, or the MARC line. Our Laurel location in the South Laurel / Laurel Lakes area is convenient for clients attending Laurel Park events or stopping by Laurel Towne Centre before or after appointments.
We serve Laurel and surrounding communities including Jessup, Savage, Beltsville, Elkridge, and Columbia. For planning, bring a clear history of previous loc work, photos of areas needing repair, and questions about maintenance. Remember that loc maintenance services like inter-locing and palm roll must be scheduled separately; repairs focus on restoring damaged locs rather than routine maintenance.
