I had an amazing experience at HairCUSTOMIZED! After thinking about it for a very long time, I finally decided to take the plunge and embrace my natural hair and get locs. Although I really wanted locs, I admit I was a little nervous getting them because our hair is truly our crown and getting locs installed is really a huge commitment, not only financially but emotionally as well. During the long install process, she was very encouraging and friendly and she always made sure that I was comfortable during the process. She even provided breakfast and lunch for me during my install, which definitely pleased the foodie in me! 😁 I also appreciated her attention to detail as she made sure that my parts and grid were exact and precise. I’ve been coming to Shavon since the end of last year for my micro loc reties, and I love coming to her. My hair is always taken care off, neatly done, but never too tight to the point where I’m in pain, and on top of that she is super kind and sweet. Always asking if I’m okay, and my opinion, and making sure I am aware of what is being done on my hair, and gives suggestions on what I should do in between re-ties to keep my hair healthy.
