Hair Material and Crochet Method
This service extends previously established locs with a handmade loc created from 100% unprocessed virgin hair using the crochet method. The extension is constructed off-site during the appointment and attached to your existing locs by crocheting the new hair into place, building length and fullness without replacing your natural locs.
Because we use 100% unprocessed virgin hair, the texture and color options are chosen to blend with your current locs. Extension hair is included in the service price. Note that the service focuses on adding length and volume; repairs to existing locs and styling are not included.
Time and Pricing Expectations
Starting Price is quoted exactly as follows: $1,100 for up to 8 hours of service. The listed appointment duration is 240 MINUTES and that is the baseline for scheduling. An additional $100 will be due for each additional hour of service until completion; number of locs and the length of extensions are the main factors that influence final cost.
Because each head of locs varies, a consultation is required before booking so we can count locs, confirm desired length, and provide a customized written quote. The consultation ensures accurate scheduling and a clear estimate so you know how many hours to reserve and whether additional time may be needed.
Preparation and Aftercare Guidance
For your consultation bring photos of the length and style you want and be prepared to discuss your daily routine and schedule. Appointments are held in Laurel, conveniently accessible from I-95 and the MARC line, which helps commuters plan before or after work. Evening and weekend openings can accommodate busy family and commuter schedules.
After the extension is attached, maintenance needs vary by lifestyle and activity. Styling and repairs are not part of the extension service, so plan separate appointments for those services. During your consultation we will discuss recommended follow-up visits and general upkeep so you can keep your new extensions looking consistent with your established locs.
