How the installation works
PRICE Begins at $1855 for shoulder length extensions. Duration: 720 MINUTES. The installation uses two-strand twists with the inter-loc'ing of hair at the root and the supplied extension hair attached during that process. Because the technique physically integrates added hair at the root, the stylist controls tension and placement to achieve consistent rows and even coverage.
A required consultation before booking lets the stylist assess your natural hair, discuss length and density goals, and confirm add-on pre-treatments or materials. The install is scheduled over one or two days depending on availability; lunch is provided for each day of your install, and first retie care is included at four weeks.
What to expect during install
Expect a focused, multi-hour appointment where hair is sectioned, the inter-loc'ing technique is applied at the scalp, and two-strand twists are formed using the extension hair. Because the process can be lengthy, appointments are split when needed across days. The stylist will pace the work to preserve hair health and to meet the agreed look discussed at consultation.

Aftercare and follow-up plan
A First Retie Appointment is included and scheduled approximately four weeks after install to tidy roots and ensure the inter-loc'ing is settling as expected. Additional maintenance, loc pre-treatments, and other add-ons are available if your consultation identifies a need. The initial retie helps maintain the integrity of the root integration and supports the chosen style.
Local climate and lifestyle affect maintenance: Mid-Atlantic humidity and seasonal weather may influence how the twists feel and perform between appointments. Clients from Laurel, Jessup, Savage, Beltsville, Elkridge, and Columbia commonly plan follow-up visits based on commuter schedules and weekend availability, and the studio provides lunch on install days to keep long appointments comfortable.
