What to expect in consultation
Your in‑salon consultation begins with a review of your completed New Client Survey so we understand hair history, goals, and any scheduling constraints. We will discuss the Sisterlocks©️ or Brotherlocks©️ system in full detail and answer your questions so you can decide whether to proceed with the locking session.
During this visit we will also place a small number of sample locs in your hair. Those samples are worn for a 14-21 day period and through two additional shampoos so you can evaluate how the locs feel, how parting sizes suit you, and whether the system fits your daily routine.
Sample locs testing details
The sample locs are a hands‑on trial: they let you experience texture, part size, and how your scalp responds over typical cleansing. You should expect to wear them for the specified test period, document what you like and dislike, and note practical things like how they fit under hats or during exercise.
After 14-21 days and two additional shampoos you will return for the locking session if you choose to proceed. The consultation’s trial phase helps you make an informed decision about commitment and part sizing without moving immediately into a full install.
Scheduling and local logistics
HairCUSTOMIZED, LLC serves Laurel residents and nearby communities from South Laurel / Laurel Lakes, convenient to Laurel Park and the Konterra corridor. Evening and weekend openings are available to accommodate commuters using I-95, the Baltimore‑Washington Parkway, or the MARC line who prefer before‑or after‑work appointments.
When booking, consider local events such as Laurel Park race days or Towne Centre plans that may affect traffic. We’ll coordinate timing so your sample loc test fits your regular routine and return appointment, keeping travel and family schedules in mind.
