Best for: people who want an in-person assessment and a clear written estimate of service length and cost after we’ve seen your hair up close.
Consultation (VIRTUAL)
Same required new-client consult, just done virtually. We’ll still cover microlocs, loc extensions, traditional installs, reties, repairs, loose natural styles, and braids. It’s a smart option if you’re coordinating around Fort Meade shifts or travel to DC or Baltimore and you want the plan before you take time to come in.
Best for: people who need speed and clarity, especially transfer clients or commuters who want to book the correct appointment length the first time.
Sisterlocks / Brotherlocks Establishment Consultation (IN SALON)
This is the first of three visits in our Sisterlocks/Brotherlocks Establishment Package: consultation, locking session, then a follow-up. During the consult, we review your completed New Client Survey, explain the Sisterlock system, and place a few sample locs so you can test them for 14 to 21 days, plus two additional shampoos, before the install.
Best for: anyone who’s serious about Sisterlocks/Brotherlocks and wants to confirm compatibility before committing to the full install.
Makeup Consultation
This is a private conversation where we look at your event, your comfort level with makeup, and the look you want in photos. We’ll decide together what makeup service makes sense, so you’re not guessing on the day of your wedding, photoshoot, or special event.
Best for: brides and event clients who want to feel confident that their look fits the moment, their face, and their style.
Important note: Our in-salon and virtual new-client consultations are non-refundable, and they roll over as a credit toward any service you schedule within 90 days. That way, the consult still counts toward your hair plan.
